My Compact is my EDC and I have replaced the sights with Trijicon Tritium Night Sights. The front edge of the rear sight is a little better for one handed racking on the belt.Please see our main custom pistolsmithing page for our backlog time. Since I want to try a red dot on my XDM 4.5 9mm Elite, I switched in the 9mm OSP slide and switched the barrels. My alternative was to pay $250-300 for a gunsmith to drill holes into the original non-OSP slide. The only remaining hurdle is that the OSP slide still has suppressor height sights. Ive never replaced handgun sights.

I bought a Storm Lake "Conversion" barrel in 9mm that I can swap out my .40s&w barrel on my XDm. But, it must be a Conversion barrel. You can't put an ordinary 9mm XDm barrel in the XDm40 slide.
