Nov 2, 2023 · Does anyone know how to fix the tether issue to have a greater distance than 160m I have tried moving the slider in the settings but doesn't seem to do anything. You can try making a dedicated server, you would just need a spare PC with about 10 GB of ram. Or you can join low populated servers New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Dependant on the system it can be longer for my group the host went from a Xbox one to a Xbox one X and tether went from 300 to 400 metres I'd imagine series X world be further still. Just most people today wouldn't notice it because most people's PCs are more than able to handle ARK SE with Tether Distance set to say 99 without too many issues. Increasing the distance does not actually make it infinite like ASE, it will end up being around 200 meters or so on the highest setting. This is still annoying, but I don't think there is a fix right now.
